Nearbo connects the devices around you — transfer files, cast to your TV, play music, use your phone as a remote, and pair AirPods. All on your local network.
Planned for the devices you already own
Five ways to connect
Nearbo is being built as one calm place for the things you already do between devices — without uploads, accounts or cables.
Send photos, videos and documents straight to a nearby device. Original quality, no cloud detour.
How file transfer worksPut photos, video or music on the biggest screen in the room. Nearbo TV turns an Android TV box into a receiver.
How casting worksPlay from your phone to nearby speakers and TVs, with playback controls always within reach.
How music worksNavigate Nearbo TV with a proper directional pad, volume, playback and text input.
How the remote worksSee connection and battery status, and switch audio without digging through settings.
How AirPods fit inA closer look at how files, casting, music, remote and AirPods work together.
Explore featuresLocal by design
Nearbo is designed around a simple rule: nearby devices should talk to each other, not to a server. There is no account, no cloud locker, and no relay in the middle.
How it works
Nearbo uses the network you already have. If your devices can see each other, they can work together.
Connect your devices to the same Wi-Fi. No dongles, no cables, no account.
Nearby devices appear automatically. Nothing to configure.
Choose what to send, cast, play or control. Nearbo handles the rest.
Compatibility
Nearbo is planned for iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, macOS, Windows and Linux. It is also being designed to work with AirPlay-compatible receivers, where supported.
Compatibility, not certification. Nearbo is an independent project and is not affiliated with Apple or Google.
